That’s one of the findings from Dollars and Change: A Look at Individual and Institutional Giving Across the United States From 2015 to 2022 , a report released in September by Candid, GivingTuesday, and Network for Good. When we look at which states receive the most charitable dollars per capita, Nebraska punches above its weight.

Reports suggest the closed-captioning wasn’t always working properly and could have a lag time of several minutes. At any rate, I think more could have been done with some creative marketing for suppliers working with ASAE and hoping to augment their investment. Visit Omaha. This sort of brand hijacking doesn’t always work, but organizations can certainly gain a lot of free exposure from this approach if it’s done well—as the Greater Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau did when it riffed on Peyton Manning’s play-calling a couple weeks ago.
