Leadership is the topic most addressed in this blog. Leadership is certainly an important topic. All this interest is because I am on a journey – a leadership journey. Mr. Conant recently published a book titled, “Touchpoints” I am putting the book on my 2012 reading list.
The multi-year advocacy and fundraising effort “will seek to create balanced leadership — the equal representation of women in leadership positions in all sectors and levels of society — within one generation.”. That’s right, it’s about skill development, community service and, most importantly, leadership. Rebels and leaders!
My favorite subject line this week was on a message posted by an association executive director in ASAE’s online community: “I need to shoot my leadership.”. The Girl Scouts are innovating like crazy to empower girls to be true to themselves, go after their dreams, and take on leadership. I’m keeping it light.

Recent readers of this blog may not be aware that I cut my blogging teeth on the subject when I hosted (with Jamie Notter ) The Hourglass Blog from 2009 to 2012. I put that hobby horse to bed in 2012, but now, in 2018, it seems that not much has changed. I see something similar happening with Millennials. Of course they are.
