When the association needed a new website a member lead the refresh. A member will be developing the association’s new member onboarding program. A team of members is putting together a new product plan. Why are the members of this association willing to do this?
Once we know what their problems are, we can select one problem that is important to members but also one that we are equipped to solve. While solving the problem we may find we are innovating new programs, content, products and services. When we launch these new innovations we improve that value equation.
Member feedback helps the new change or product reach its fullest potential. At first, feedback may sound like criticism and criticism may seem like feedback but they are worlds apart. Feedback will help you work the kinks out of the offering. Feedback helps you iterate to make improvements.
