In 2014 the organization was rebranded to the Association of Talent Development, a clearer, more modern moniker. A strong brand makes it easier to clarify and communicate your value proposition, something association executives tell me is difficult for their organizations. After a few years, AACSB saw how well the affinity groups used the community platform and decided to open the community to all members, without filtering by affinity group.
