There are 77 million Baby Boomers in the US and another 10 million across Canada. "Boomers" are generally well educated, wealthy and skilled individuals who have already proven their willingness to volunteer - with nearly a third of Boomers volunteering for formal organizations. But to take advantage of this "untapped resource of extraordinary proportions" organizations need to rethink how they attract and utilize Boomer volunteers.( read more ).
