I said yep what a concept. I could use a little fuel myself. And we could all use a little change. Smash Mouth, Astro Lounge. The Short of It. New job. New website. New adventure.
This is how it usually goes. We're on break during a meeting or strategy session. A participant pulls me aside and expresses concern about something that is happening in the group, something he thinks I as the external facilitator need to take care of when we regroup. I listen attentively, thank the participant for sharing his perspective, and invite him to raise it with the group when we reconvene.
You know they have to be short. But what else makes a good nonprofit Twitter or Facebook update? As with everything we say and do, we need to start by asking, “What’s the goal?&# Or more specifically, what do you want the reaction to be when your tweet or update is read? I think this boils down to three basic choices in nonprofit social media.

When I first hired a personal coach, I was given the choice of holding sessions in person or via telephone.
